Should a person be forced to retire at a certain age?

My answer to this question is NO. I am strongly against retirement at a certain age. It is too many to enumerate/list. Due to medical improvement, age to be over the hill is extended. The life expectancy around WW2 was 50 years old. Now it is over 80. Age restriction is old-fashioned system before appearance of demographic imbalance. I believe we can expect huge merits from it. I’d like to shed light on two aspects here.

Firstly, postponing retirement can be one of the resolutions for work shortage. According to the demographic statistics, one in four in 2025 would be over 65 years old. Even now, we suffer from demographic imbalance. To solve this problem, to extend the retirement age can be good solution. The merit system has been installed for the last two decades. I believe the system is not a matter of age. Current 50’s and 60’s are still alive and kicking. As far as people who are willing to work can bear fruit, they should be allowed to continue their career. Their contribution compensate for the shortage of younger work force.

Secondly, we can secure time to succeed technology and craftsmanship. In some fields, age and accumulated knowledge are strong advantage. Researchers, engineers and professors may very well benefit from their many years of experience. It's very difficult to take over their experiences within a short time. Why is it short? In an extreme case, old tech is simple. The longer time goes by, the more technology is sophisticated. For example, transistor radio uses simple technology; to the contrary, mobile phone with multiple functions is so complicated. Younger engineers need time to master the distinguished knowledge and enhance it.

In conclusion, postponing the retirement age has two significant advantages. We can expect to secure work force and succession of technology and craftsmanship. These two are strongly related to national power.

If we don’t take measures on this issue, we will loose national power and competition in international markets.

The rate of aging varies from person to person,. Some individuals age more slowly than others, and this makes difficult for employers to draw a uniform line of age limit.
In terms of this topic, some people say, knowing the above fact, therefore we need uniform mandetory retirement age.
It is surely theoretically possible that the manager of personnel office meets each employee to check if his working capacity still meets the company's requirement. But what if the company is so big, like your corporation? Is that a practical way? If you are a stuff at personnel department, are you willing to do this checkup yourself? To be cost-effective, in this case, you probably better force the employees at the mandatory retirement age set up the company. But rather than totally uniform age, maybe you can set the retirement age according to that worker's job type, like cleaner 70, clerk 60, engineer 40, model 30, etc.

OLD PEOPLE 67 AND ABOVE SHOULD RETIRE. EVERYONE SHOULD BE FORCED TO RETIRE AT 67 YEARS OF AGE. THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD LOOK INTO THIS.MOST OLD PEOPLE IN THE WORKFORCE AT AGE OVER 67 ARE ANNOYING AND REALLY HARD TO WORK WITH. THEY ARE LIKE UNRULLY KIDS/WHEN THEY'RE TOO OLD THEY BECOME KIDS.WHEN THEY CAN'T RETIRE THEY CAUSE A LOT OF PAIN TO OTHER YOUNGER PEOPLE DUE TO THE INABILITY TO LIVE THEIR OWN LIVES WITH ALL THINGS THAT HAVE HAPPENED TO THEM SUCH AS LOSING A SPOUSE(A PERSON AT SUCH AN AGE MAY GET JEALOUS AT KNOWING A YOUNGER PERSON STILL LIVES A HAPPY LIFE BECAUSE IT'S UNBILIEVABLE TO THEM TO UNDERSTAND AFTER ALL THIS STORM THAT THEY NO LONGER HAVE/DESERV E WHAT THEY USED TO HAVE), OLD CHILDREN, FRIENDS, NOT HAVING FRIENDS BECAUSE OF THEIR OLD AGE(THEY TRY TO APPROACH YOUNGER PEOPLE CLOSE TO THEM IN ANYWAY TO MAKE FRIENDS WITH THEM, BUT IT IS ALWAYS HARD, IF ONLY YOU UNDERSTAND, REALY TOO HARD TO BE FRIENDS WITH AN ANNOYING OLD PERSON), NOT HAVING IMPORTANT SIGNIFICANCE IN COMMUNITY AS THEY USED TO PUSHES THEM TO WANTING TO STAY IN THE WORKFORCE BRINGING IN OLD AGE APPROACHES WITHIN WORKPLACES. SOME OF THESE OLD PEOPLE TURN INTO VIMPIRE-LIKE CREATURES THAT ARE HARD TO LIVE WITH, HARD TO WORK WITH(THEY TEND TO MAKE WORK PLACES AND TOOLS USED AT WORK AS THEIR OWN PROPERTY INSTEAD OF/RATHER THAN VIEWING COMPANY PROPERTY AS COMPANY PROPERTY....COMPANY PROPERTY MEANS COMPANY PROPERTY NOT PERSONAL BELONGING(S)). THEY ASK FOR TOO MUCH RESPECT THAN THEY DESERVE/RESPECT IS WHAT YOU MUST EARN NOT WHAT YOU ARE GUARANTEED WITHOUT CAUSE.
IF THEY STAY IN THE WORKFORCE, IT SHOULD BE MADE SURE THAT ALL THEY WORK WITH AND ALL THEY WORK FOR, AND ALL THAT MAY GET WHERE THEY WORK ARE OF THE SAME AGE OR OLDER.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NOT HAVE OLDER PEOPLE(67 YEARS OR OLDER) WORK WITH THE YOUTH. NEVER PLACE A PERSON AGE 67 OR OLDER IN THE SAME ROOM WITH A 18 YEAR OLD OR EVEN A 30 YEAR OLD.

NOTE THAT ANYTHING THAT IS TO EXCESSIVE IS NEVER EVER GOOD.

PEOPLE BORN BEFORE 1070 ARE BASICALLY RACISTS AND MORE THAN 80% OF THEM HAVE VERY LOW SELF-ESTEEM. So, this nonsense will go on until 2045. 2045 is when most of these people who were born from 1920 to 1970 are dead; leaving the communities behind safer than before and more focused on improving most thing such as scientific research and technology advencement. It does not matter whether it is your grandfather or grandmother, all old people are all old people. There very slight difference. Vampire is Vampire. Work together to improve the world and make sure you do this away from these types of old people(born between 1920 to 1970). Soon you will understand these words if you have not understood yet.

When states are given the right to relgulate retirement age/requirements/specifications, many unfair things do happen. If California, for example the retirement age is 80. It is known that people in California have tried to keep California white in work places, in schools, in entertainment industry,etc.. Now, When a person grown in California (at age 70)comes to Georgia where the retirement age is 67 he/she brings in all Californian legal approaches in any public and or private places where he may be for any reason; If it be a racial discriminatory habbit/approach acquire from workplaces from the state where he/she is from(California) it is brought into Georgia and expected to be used; It is really hard to change a person's mind, habbits, and or behaviors at 70, making it hard to decide removing them in the workforce,....in the new state(In this case Georgia). Will these people comply with other states' laws or try to manipulate and or change the other states' laws/there are always concerns and the want to change what's in existence, even with wrong approaches as such they be.

THE POINT IS EVERYONE SHOULD TAKE A PERSONALITY TEST BEFORE GETTING HIRED, IT DOES NOT MATTER WHETHER THEY HAVE PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE OR HAVE RECEIVED A PHD DEGREE IN CRIMINAL SCIENCE or psycholgy. AND COMPANIES SHOULD MAKE SURE THAT EMPLOYEES KEEP COMPANY PROPERTY AS COMPNY PROPERTY NOT AS PERSONL ITEMS/BELONINGS; THIS IS WHEN A FAMILIY MEMBER HIRES A FAMILIY MEMBER FOR JUST BEING A FAMILIY MEMBER AND THIS IS WHEN ABSOLUTELY FRUGAL OR SIMPLY THOSE MATERIALISTIC OLD PEOPLE TURN COMPANY PROPERTY INTO THEIR OWN PROPERTY/ITEMS REGULATING THE USE OF THE PROPERTY AS IF IT WERE THEIR OWN. IT ABSOLUTELY WRONG. ALWAYS REMIND YOUR EMPLOYEES THAT COMPANY PROPERTY IS NOT THEIR PERSONAL BELONGING(S). THEY COME INTO WORK AND GET HIRED BY COMPANY NOT BY THEMSELVES OR THEIR OWN PARENTS, THERE ARE LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO NEED THE JOB THEY ARE GIVEN AND WHO COULD DO THE JOB BETTER AND WORK BETTER WITH EVERYONE REGARDLESS OR THEIR RACE, HEIGHT, GENDER, NATIONALITY.
